This is me, Erkut Uygun, the main author of “Not-So-Secret Notebook”.

Born in İstanbul, lived in İzmir – Turkey till 2001, currently living in Cambridge – the United Kingdom. Educated in and hold degrees on Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science as well as Business Studies and Management.

Worked in high-tech industry for more than 30+ years, hence got versatile experience on digital electronics, RF systems, computer hardware and software, heterogenous multi-processors and operating systems for real-time applications, 4th and 5th Generation telecomunication technologies, product tests and measurments, hardware and software production, IoT technologies and applications with cloud services, web technologies, Machine Learning, Computer Networks and Cryptography, so on… 

Although, I have a vast interest in high-tech and engineering as my day job,“Not-So-Secret Notebook”s scope goes beyond these subjects. The other “things” and hobbies that I love to share can be found as well, including but not limited to amateur photography, travel, model making, various art forms etc.

The articles and posts in“Not-So-Secret Notebook” are created not only by me but also by family members, relatives and close friends.
